Energi in Bali

Energi in Bali is an immersive retreat designed to transform one’s relationship to food and their body. Whether the struggle is food restriction, overeating, compulsive dieting or general anxiety around food, we invite attendees to refresh and refine their understanding of what it means to be nourished in a uniquely beautiful and healing environment. Energi is a clinically-informed retreat with powerful programming facilitated by expert clinicians and healers intent on creating a network of support and connection.

Purposefully private and intimate, Energi in Bali brings together just 12 attendees. Professionally-led groups, meal exposures and one-on-one counseling and coaching sessions are facilitated by clinicians who specialize in working specifically with mindfulness, self-compassion and attachment. Alicia Racine, LMHC

Alicia Racine is an accomplished performance artist and a licensed mental health counselor, currently residing in Los Angeles, California. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Boston University, and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. She presently works in private practice and works specifically with women’s issues including anxiety, depression and eating disorders. Alicia worked as lead eating disorder therapist at Center for Discovery and Monte Nido, treating adults and adolescents with eating disorders, exercise addiction, and other mental health issues. Combining her interests in both theater and therapy, Alicia discovered the powerful connection between storytelling and relationships. How we self-narrate influences our lives and is pivotal in her work. She believes in evidenced based practices of short term Psychodynamic Therapy, Transference-Focused Therapy, Exposure & Response Prevention and Mindfulness.

“Many of us recognize areas of our lives that lack fulfillment. We long for love, belonging, a chance to breathe and feelings of success. Trauma, addiction, and negative schemas often make achieving our goals difficult. We find ourselves right back where we started as if in a loop. Most of us, need someone to actually hear us and see us. What if therapy does make a difference? What if taking the time for yourself to explore dynamics and make behavioral steps offered you peace and joy?”
